Phase 1 Skier Service Floorspace Requirements
Proposed skier service facilities have been calculated for the Phase 1 development program consistent with the Phase 1 mountain and ski area terrain development. Table IV.9 summarizes the recommended skier service floorspace for Phase 1 and includes the calculation of added service functions specific to the requirements of visitors using the tubing park, other recreation activity users and sightseers.
The recommended floorspace is based on Ecosign's planning standards for regional/destination resorts of a similar type, with some modifications to suit Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort's unique characteristics. The requirement for indoor food service seating has been established such that each restaurant seat would receive 3 "turns" or uses during the day.
